Why Da'em and how does it work?
The social and psychological reality of Palestinian society is linked to a history of major crises that have brought about changes in societal culture and the nature and form of relationships. The effects of political and economic instability have pervaded the social level, creating complex social and psychological problems. Furthermore, there is a dire need in the Palestinian market for early and emergency intervention programs at all levels, individual, collective, and institutional.
Da'em provides services to fill existing gaps, developing intervention programs for psychological and social support in all sectors of work, and at the family level. This distinguishes the support center, as it targets, for example, employees, professionals, and workers in the medical and educational sectors, youth and university students, and women, especially those living on the outskirts of cities or in parallel neighborhoods (camps).
Da'em team also uses scientific methods to understand, perceive, and analyze at the individual, group, and work environment levels, and conducts pre- and post-evaluations of all intervention programs. Support operates at an integrated scientific and research level, understanding internal, external, and environmental factors and then deriving intervention programs and their measurement indicators.
